Here are my thoughts on this wrinkle-treating system of products made by EliteSkin.

Elite Serum: this is the best eye cream as far as getting rid of eye wrinkles and making bags go away.  I have yet to find a more silky smooth serum that has the potency of this eye cream.  My results are pretty much documented in my prior updates to this website.

Elite Wrinkle Eraser: I’ve found this to be a great concealer of wrinkles.  I used this mostly on my forehead wrinkles as well as my wrinkles that take shape around my frown lines.  While they aren’t “gone” they are greatly reduced in appearance. I’m happy with the progress of this wrinkle cream, and like Elite Serum, only a small amount is needed to see great results.

Elite V-Covery: This is my favorite of the three products.  Like many others, I am one who didn’t apply much sunblock on my neck area as I grew up.  It seems that every time I had on a v-neck shirt or just exposed this skin, the sun really lit it up and did some serious damage.  This neck cream goes on smooth, and feels great upon application.  It’s rich, buttery feeling confirms my thought that this neck cream also acts as a great tool that adds moisture on impact.  My neck wrinkles were smoothed out and my upper chest skin is now more conformed and looks more in tune with that of my cheeks.

Overall, I’m very happy with this rejuvenation system. It was hard to find a three part system of products that act together to treat the area from the neck up and really take years off of my appearance – but now that I’ve been sold on the science of cosmeceuticals, I could not be happier.

Best Eye Cream I’ve Found:  Elite Serum

Elite Serum was the reason I started this little blog in the first place.  If you read my story, you will understand the frustration I was going through as a 30 year old mother with a terrible dark circle problem.   Lucky for me, earlier this year I read some eye cream reviews from authority websites, like EyeCream.com, and realized that I was buying all of the wrong types of eye creams.

With any eye cream, I have found that it is important that it absorbs into the skin fast.  Especially for us women, it is important that we do not have to wait up to fifteen minutes to let the eye cream absorb into the skin so we can then apply our makeup.  Elite Serum absorbed fast, and within minutes I was ready for makeup.  The nice thing about this eye cream is that you truly only need a small fingertip applied under each eye.   The airless pump allows easy application without wasting any of the cream upon using it.   Your mileage may vary but my experience showed that only a tiny amount was necessary under each eye.

My biggest success with this eye cream was noticing how it worked to smooth out the skin under my eyes and provide a more youthful glow to the skin.   Dark circles under the eyes are (in my opinion at least) the hardest aging symptom to treat.  After three weeks of consistent application, the dark circles were drastically reduced and after two months, they were completely gone.   Since dark circles gradually appeared under my eyes, and are the result of years of abuse from the sun and other elements, it makes sense that they cannot vanish overnight.  Contrary to how some other eye creams are marketed, it’s refreshing to see a good result from an eye cream that doesn’t make bogus claims it can’t back up.  Patience if virtue, like they say!

Elite Serum was the answer to my eye bags and eye wrinkles.  I’m so happy I tried it, and I haven’t looked back since.

So I figured I’d clear the air on why I’m so high on eye creams and endorse their usage as part of an anti aging skin care routine.  For starters, skin care has evolved into a much more proactive industry, and if you speak to a dermatologist, they will most likely tell you that it’s suggested that you visit them on a bi-annual basis.  While you may snicker and think, “well that is how they make money,” you do have good reason, but when you think of the small cost and potential life-saving check-ups that you can really benefit from, it does make sense.  A dermatologist can find the “bad stuff” in your skin, detect potential tumors, and basically consult and coach you to long-term skin success.  With healthy skin being such a hard topic for a lot of people to grip and really control, it’s always nice hearing just exactly what you should be doing – from a professional.

Back to the topic of eye creams, the obvious answer as to why you should use an eye cream daily is to look younger and promote healthy skin.  While many people just let out the obvious “DUH” I figured it’s best to talk about what exactly an eye cream can do you for you.

1.  Get rid of puffy eyes.

*This skin deficiency makes us look like we had an allergic reacti0n, and is quite bothersome.

2.  Visibly reduce the appearance of dark under eye circles.

*Dark circles form from too many toxins in the body, lack of sleep, genetics, and unhealthy eating habits. In some cases they can be caused by prescription medicines.

3.  Reduce eye bags and “sagging eyes.”

*Nobody wants to look like Droopy, the famous cartoon character.  Eye bags make you look dull, uninterested, and tired.

4.  Increase collagen production in the area of skin under the eyes.

*Collagen production ceases as we grow older.  It’s important to enhance it’s generation, as it’s vital to having youthful looking skin.

5.  Conceal eye wrinkles or “crows feet” as they are commonly referred to.

*Eye wrinkles or “crows feet” are perhaps the most visible, noticeable wrinkles that form.  Eye wrinkles are a form of aging that we can’t avoid, as facial expressions repeated over the years happen routinely on a daily basis around the eyes.

Of course, there are other reasons you can use an eye cream, and they range from simple (source of hydration, protection) to complex (to stimulate collagen renewal and penetrate the skin’s dermis.)  However, the above reasons are the main ones.  If you find a product geared to attack just one of these reasons, and there is clinical testing that backs up it’s claims, it’s worth a solid look.  Just look at the Dark Circle Serum by Wrinkle System.  This product may not conceal eye wrinkles, but it’s carved out a great niche by just addressing to skin nuances:  dark circles and puffiness.  Dark circles are almost chronic in some peoples experiences, and they probably agree life would be much easier without them.  Perhaps these people should give this product a try, as it truly does work.
